London, 15 July : England have made changes to their squad ahead of the remaining matches of the ODI series against India by recalling fast bowler Brydon Carse. The decision comes after England suffered a six-wicket defeat in the opening game at Edgbaston on July 14.
Carse, who recently recovered from an injury suffered during the Indian Premier League, has been brought back to strengthen England’s pace department as the hosts attempt to make a comeback in the three match series.
The inclusion of the right-arm pacer is expected to provide England with additional firepower, especially after their bowling attack struggled to contain India’s chase in the first ODI.

India gained a 1-0 lead in the series after producing an all-round display in Birmingham. Chasing 259 runs, the visitors reached the target comfortably with four wickets in hand.
Captain Shubman Gill played a key role with an important 80-run knock, while Axar Patel delivered a match-winning contribution by scoring runs and taking four wickets.
