The meeting took place on Wednesday, with the Indian Embassy in Beijing sharing details on Friday.
The discussions focused on the activities of the China Law Society, its engagement with international partners and potential areas for future collaboration. Wang is expected to lead a delegation to India soon, providing an opportunity to explore greater institutional exchanges between the two countries.
Meanwhile, India’s Consul General in Shanghai Pratik Mathur held talks with Li Dong, President of the Shanghai branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), on Thursday.
The meeting explored measures to deepen economic and commercial relations and increase direct engagement between businesses from India and China.

The two sides also exchanged views on potential cooperation in advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence and technology, green development, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, automobiles, textiles and logistics.
Both parties agreed to maintain regular communication and promote practical initiatives aimed at facilitating trade, investment and greater two-way business engagement.
The Shanghai Consulate said such efforts could help create stronger links between companies and expand commercial opportunities for businesses in both countries.
Earlier, Mathur hosted the inaugural Viksit Bharat Lecture titled “The India Way Pharma Leadership Inspired by AYUSH Heritage”.
Addressing the gathering, Mathur highlighted India’s traditional approaches to well being and mental health, along with the country’s growing focus on emerging technologies.
He said these strengths have contributed to making the healthcare sector more resilient and sustainable.
The diplomatic engagements come as India and China continue efforts to expand dialogue across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, legal cooperation, technology and healthcare.
