NEW DELHI, Aug 15: Union Health Minister J P Nadda was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, after experiencing uneasiness, hospital authorities said.
Nadda was admitted on Thursday evening and underwent a coronary angiography following his initial medical evaluation. He is currently stable and has been kept under observation in the cardiology department, according to the hospital.
The development comes as the Union Health Minister continues to oversee several major public health initiatives, including programmes focused on expanding healthcare access and strengthening medical infrastructure.
