Akshay Kumar Says Haiwaan Showcases a New Side of His Acting

On his 59th birthday, the actor spoke about the lessons he took from the Priyadarshan directed film and his reunion with Saif Ali Khan.

MUMBAI, Sept 10: Akshay Kumar has revealed that his upcoming film Haiwaan pushed him to explore a darker and more complex side of his acting.

Speaking on his 59th birthday, the actor said the project taught him that good and evil are not always as clearly defined as they appear.

The film, directed by Priyadarshan, features Kumar alongside Saif Ali Khan, marking their reunion nearly 18 years after they last appeared together.

Kumar has indicated that audiences will see a different dimension of his performance in the upcoming project. The actor’s comments have added to curiosity surrounding the film, particularly because of the contrasting shades of his character.

The reunion with Khan has also become one of the major talking points around the project. Their previous collaborations have given the new film an added dose of nostalgia for moviegoers.

With Priyadarshan at the helm and two established actors sharing the screen again, the project is among the Hindi films generating attention ahead of its release.
