DC Doda Vikas Sharma greets ace shooter of Doda for winning Gold

DODA, MARCH 27:  Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today greeted ace shooter of Doda, Chain Singh for winning Gold medal in ISSF world cup in 50 MTR Rifle 3 position team event held in New Delhi.

The DC held a phone conversation with Chain Singh and extended warm greetings to him.

The DC said that he is an asset for the country and an inspiration for the young generation to adopt sports as a profession.

The DC wished him good luck for his future endeavours and asked him to keep working hard and keep shining like a star at the international level.

Chain Singh, a resident of Chanser, a small village of Bhalessa  Doda, has won many titles during his several years-long careers. He has won more than 90 medals in national and international events which include 11 gold medals, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals in international events.

He has also represented the country in the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil and the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Australia.
