Deputy Commissioner motivates Youth to join Youth Clubs
Callers thank DC for installation of Transformer, repair of Handpumps in their areas
REASI, AUGUST 28: District Development Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh, today conducted live interaction with the youth of Reasi as part of ‘Reasi Beeps-Beat the Pandemic’- an online public grievances redress programme.
Charandeep Singh attended scores of calls during the one-hour session from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and directed the concerned authorities for early redress of the issues projected by the callers.
The young callers from far-flung areas of the district highlighted the issues, problem areas and potential of their areas.
A caller Mohammad Rafiq from Dharmari thanked the Deputy Commissioner for the installation of the Transformer. Another caller from Dharan, Thanpal also thanked DC for swift repair of Handpumps.
While interacting with the youth, Charandeep Singh said that engaging youth in the development process of the district was one of the first priorities of the administration and the youth can do so by becoming part of the Youth Clubs.
During the programme, Charandeep Singh also enquired from the callers about the Vaccination progress in their areas and urged them to support the administration in achieving 100% inoculation coverage target of the 18-44 age group.
The DC encouraged youngsters to become part of the Youth Clubs operating at Panchayat level to channelize their talent properly.
Meanwhile, the DC directed the concerned authorities to encourage the youth of Reasi to avail the benefits of various schemes so that they can overcome all adversities in their life thereby developing a positive and healthy environment in the society.
