YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Editorial . . . . . . .

Youth are the most significant and dynamic demographic in any area, as is well known. Developing nations with sizable youth populations may experience rapid growth if they made investments in youth health, education, and rights protection. Young people today are tomorrow’s inventors, creators, builders, and leaders, as has been emphasized time and time again. However, they require the necessary assistance in the form of good health, education, training, and opportunities to change the future. The government experiences an economic trigger when there are more available workers than there are hungry mouths to feed. Simply expressed, there must be more people of working age than people who are dependent. The population of Jammu and Kashmir now comprises more than half of those who are of working age. Unfortunately, the bulk of our youth are growing restless and are fighting to eliminate the inequalities. If we want to escape the terrible cycles of poverty, corruption, and unemployment, more work must be done. All of these vices are not only pervasive but also increasing in our society, which prevents us from operating in line with its true ideals. Our UT enjoys a demographic advantage. They are capable of altering things. Younger minds will be more innovative and fresh, which aids in the advancement of the J&K. However, youngsters should be given sufficient opportunities to advocate for their ideas and policies in order to improve the country. Politics is the sole means by which they may execute their ideas and voice their opinions. Knowledge and unity speak louder than experience, so we need to inspire our young people to get involved in politics and to hold important positions in the political sphere. We actually stand a good chance of quickly developing into a sophisticated and affluent UT if the reins of power are placed in the hands of the young. They are able to effect change. The goal of educational programmes should be to instill in students the value of selecting the proper leaders at the school level. Historically, dynasty politicians have urged our children to stay away from politics due to their own self-interest. Youth, however, ought to be inspired to think about entering politics as a way to help the J&K. They ought to be focused on anti-corruption campaigns with an emphasis on prevention, instruction, and tactics for combating corruption. A practical approach to good government is youth empowerment. Youth will play a crucial part in this drive toward a transparent civil society structure that may influence the political system for the good of society since they are young and fresh with ideas rather than ideals. Democracy can only function with a robust system of representation, and a state/UT can only sustain its vitality and dynamism with a strong youth representation. In order to enhance the democratic structure and promote sustainable development, it is crucial to recognise the contribution of civil society to young empowerment. The answer is to effectively use contemporary methods to spread among young people the idea that they can participate in and be represented in democracy through civil society initiatives. Most of our issues require their help to be solved.

Youth can provide solutions to the many problems we are now facing. All they require is a chance to prove themselves. Despite their education, some of them are jobless. They should be given the chance to develop themselves and show the world their intelligence. Government, public society, non-profits, and other interested parties should support young people so they can make our J&K a great and educated one. They will significantly influence society. They simply require a supportive and conducive environment at the family, community, social, state, national, and international levels to enable them to carry out their obligations. Youth plays an important part in establishing a country, it is true. They are tremendously ambitious, problem solvers, and have a beneficial impact on other young people and the country. They have the capacity to forge their own identities and advance the country. Without the assistance of the government, they will not be able to accomplish this. Therefore, youth need support for a bright future in our society.
