IPS Vikramjit Singh Appointed Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh Finance Corporation for a Three-Year Term

02-06-2023 : In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced the appointment of IPS officer Vikramjit Singh as the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh Finance Corporation (JKLFC) for a tenure of three years. The government’s decision is in accordance with the powers granted under Section 15(1) of the State Finance Corporation Act, 1951.
As per the official order, Vikramjit Singh, who currently serves as the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government in the Industries and Commerce Department, has been nominated as the Chairman of the JKLFC. This appointment comes as a replacement for Shri Prashant Goyal, IAS, and is valid for a period not exceeding three years or until further orders are issued.
