BJP shying away from Assembly elections in J&K: Tony

JAMMU, July 3: The reason behind BJP running away from holding Assembly elections in J&K is simple as all promises made with the people in the run up to the last assembly and Lok Sabha polls have proved to be big Jumlas.

This was said by Taranjit Singh Tony, Chairman of AAP J&K for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs and DDC Suchetgarh in a statement issued to media persons here on Monday.

Tony said that BJP is liable for shattering the dreams of common man in the JKUT because it has failed on all fronts and that is the sole reason the Saffron brigade is shying away from Assembly polls. He said that there is no doubt in the fact that BJP knows very well that  Assembly elections in J&K will proved to be waterloo for the party becuase of lies and anti people policies of this so-called largest political party of the world. He said that BJP Government at the centre and its proxy dispensation in the UT have miserably failed to provide employment to the people of J&K.

Tony said farmers have been badly hit in the last nine years of Modi rule in the country. Instead of doubling their income, the farmers have been reduced to starvation, he added.

“The Central Government led by BJP  has miserably failed to improve country’s GDP despite changing the formula for calculating the same. It is also a cruel joke with the people of the country that despite tall claims, incumbent government failed to bring investments in India. Government under the realms of PM Modi has also miserably failed to protect the boundaries along China because it is a stark reality that China has encroached Indian territory at many places”, Tony said adding that the Dragon nation didn’t allow the PM Modi to show Lal Ankh, rather it has dominated him on all fronts because he not even dare to name out the country, which has ‘invaded’ India on several corners.

The senior AAP leader also showed mirror to the Modi Government on the issue of sky-rocketing inflation which is highest today as compare to the figures of last seven years.

Tony said instead of celebrating 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav on getting success in dividing the society, the Modi Government should have  worked in the direction of celebrating the same by providing employment to youths, containing inflation and protecting borders along the China.
