Gaurav Gupta Applauds Lieutenant Governor's Proactive Approach to Land Allocation
Jammu, 08-07-2023: Gaurav Gupta, the former General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jammu, has publicly praised the commendable efforts of the Lieutenant Governor for his proactive approach in providing plots to the economically disadvantaged individuals as part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme.
Pertinent to mention here that the PMAY scheme, launched by the Modi Government, has been instrumental in ensuring affordable housing for all sections of society.
Gupta, in a statement issued here today, highlighted the lack of attention given by successive governments in addressing the housing needs of the underprivileged. He criticized the previous administrations for their inaction and expressed his disappointment that it took so long for the issue to be tackled effectively.
Gaurav took a strong stance against the opposition parties that have voiced their opposition to the government’s decision. He urged the opposition to prioritize the identification of landless individuals, as it is their right to have a place they can call home. He firmly believed that political differences should not come in the way of providing basic necessities to the most vulnerable members of society.
Gupta appealed to the public and relevant authorities to work together in identifying eligible beneficiaries and ensure the successful implementation of the initiative. He expressed his optimism that this effort would bring about positive changes in the lives of countless families, enabling them to build a brighter and more secure future.
