Those politicizing Chanderyaan-3’s success doing great disservice to country: Kavinder
Refutes Congress’s statement accusing BJP of taking all credit
JAMMU,24-08-2023 : Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta lambasted section of political parties for politicizing the success of Mission Chanderyaan-3 claiming that by sharing unfounded remarks these entities are doing great disservice to the nation.
Slamming the statement made by Congress leader Tariq Hamid Karra claiming that BJP is taking the credit of something which has been accomplished by the scientist fraternity of the country, Kavinder said that it is unfortunate that Congress leadership is politicizing something which in actual should be celebrated by one and all in the country for being an event of national pride.
Kavinder accused Congress and its ilk of showing narrow-mindedness in the matter reminding them of the time when Chanderyaan-2 missed the mark and PM Narendra Modi took the entire responsibility. He said that before making baseless statements, the Congress leader should have paid attention to what PM Modi has said soon after success of the aforesaid mission.
He said that PM Modi didn’t take any credit rather he praised the entire population of the country from scientists to peasants and farmers for doing their bit to make Chanderyaan-3’s flight flawless by praying and seeking blessing of God. He said that such moments of pride and glory should not be demeaned by cheap politics and asked all the opposition parties to be the part of celebration and desist from spreading negativity.
Meanwhile, Kavinder asked the party cadre to fully focus on Voter Chetna Abhiyan commencing tomorrow as polls are on cards and there is very little time left to educate people about what is good for the country and what is not as only BJP can steer India to new heights of progress and peaceful dwelling.
