November 8, 2023, marks a key milestone in the field of e-service quality assessment and enhancement with the launch of the e-Services Quality Assessment Application (AQS) in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Our dependence on e-services has increased for a variety of governmental transactions and tasks as the globe grows more digitally connected.
Citizens increasingly anticipate that these digital services will be both easily available and of excellent quality when using them to make payments, apply for necessary paperwork, or seek information. The qualities of accessibility, speed, user-friendliness, and dependability should define a high-quality e-service experience. Government services ought to be accessible to the public without undue hardship or complexity. The AQS application tackles the pressing demand for e-services quality assessment and enhancement. An in-house project called the e-Services Quality Assessment Application (AQS) was created to enable customers/citizens to give immediate feedback via a dashboard for a mobile app. Its main goal is to make it easier for the Jammu and Kashmiri administration to continuously evaluate and enhance the e-services it provides. With its goal of offering real-time feedback and quality assurance for all 1075 government-offered e-services, AQS represents a significant expansion in the quality assessment of e-services. This is a significant increase over the 470 services that were previously available through the Revenue Administrative System (RAS). Several important aspects that AQS provides set it apart in the field of e-governance. Real-time feedback mechanisms are incorporated into the application, allowing users to provide immediate input as they utilize e-services. This instant feedback mechanism can help identify and resolve issues promptly, resulting in a more efficient and user-friendly digital service experience.
