NC holds workers meeting at Wagoora, Budgam

Srinagar, 30 Nov: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference North Zone President Javed Ahmad Dar on Thursday presided over a one-day workers meeting at Wagoora Kreeri.

During the meeting the preparations of the party’s convention to be held in Wagoora and Sopore constituencies were reviewed. Provincial Secretary Showkat Mir, District President Baramulla Sajjad Shafi Uri, In-charge Constituency Wagora Khawaja Muhammad Yaqoob Wani, Ghulam Hassan Rahi, Irshad Rasool and youth leader Iqbal Nabi were also present in the meeting.

Meanwhile, Central Zone President Ali Mohammad Dar presided over a meeting of district Budgam functionaries. The functionaries also discussed the ongoing party activities in the constituency. They also discussed imminent challenges faced by the party and the future course of action to deal with them. Senior party leaders Advocate Saifuddin Butt, Dr. Muhammad Shafi, Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Nazir Ahmed Goga and other office bearers were also present in the meeting. Apart from party programs and party activities in the district, discussions were held about the problems and difficulties faced by the people. Concern was also expressed over the worst electricity crisis in the valley.
