Rahul Gandhi Condemns BJP’s Job Promise, Calls for Youth Empowerment Amid Rising Unemployment Concerns
Rahul Gandhi Challenges BJP's Job Creation Claims, Unveils Congress's 'Yuva Nyay' Initiative for Youth Employment
New Delhi, 26-03-2024 : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on the BJP, accusing the party of deceiving the public with its promise of generating two crore jobs annually. Rahul Gandhi asserted that the youth of India are questioning whether the BJP misled them with false assurances.
Addressing the pressing issue of unemployment, Gandhi emphasized the imperative for youth to take charge of their own destinies and dismantle the illusionary narratives propagated by the BJP. He assured that the Congress is committed to initiating a transformative employment revolution through its ‘Yuva Nyay’ initiative, a pledge made to the youth in anticipation of elections.
Gandhi’s critique of the BJP’s employment promises came through a post on social media platform X, where he challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration regarding their plans for job creation. He highlighted the widespread skepticism among the youth regarding the BJP’s ambitious job creation claims.
Underlining the Congress’s vision for addressing unemployment, Gandhi outlined key aspects of the ‘Yuva Nyay’ initiative. This includes plans to fill 30 lakh government vacancies, guaranteeing job opportunities worth Rs 1 lakh annually for every educated youth through the ‘Pehli Naukri Pakki’ scheme, and implementing stringent measures to prevent paper leaks by enacting legislation.
Furthermore, Gandhi emphasized the fundamental ideological disparity between the Congress and the BJP, portraying the former as advocates for youth empowerment and the latter as purveyors of misinformation. He urged the youth to actively shape their future by rejecting false promises and advocating for genuine solutions to the employment crisis.
With the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to take place between April 19 and June 1, the Congress has made unemployment a focal point of its campaign strategy, aiming to hold the BJP government accountable for its alleged failure to address this pressing issue.
