Abhishake Abrol Assumes Charge as General Manager, DIC Jammu; Stresses Transparent and Timely Public Communication

Jammu, May 6:  Abhishake Abrol, JKAS, officially assumed the charge as the General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC), Jammu, bringing with him a vision focused on responsive governance and effective public engagement.

Soon after taking charge, Shri Abrol addressed the departmental staff and emphasized the importance of prompt, efficient, and transparent dissemination of information to stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and the general public. He underlined that timely communication is not only a reflection of administrative efficiency but also crucial for building public trust in government institutions.

Calling upon the officials to work with dedication, professionalism, and a proactive approach, Shri Abrol urged the team at DIC Jammu to ensure that industrial schemes, policies, and support initiatives reach the intended beneficiaries without delay or ambiguity. He highlighted the critical role of the Industries Centre in promoting entrepreneurship, generating employment, and facilitating ease of doing business in the region.

“The District Industries Centre must function as a dynamic bridge between the government and industrial stakeholders. Prompt and clear communication is key to ensuring that people are well-informed about the services, incentives, and opportunities available to them,” he said.

He further encouraged all officers and staff to maintain a people-first approach, remain accessible to the public, and respond to inquiries and grievances in a time-bound and satisfactory manner.

Shri Abrol’s assumption of charge is expected to bring renewed focus on service delivery, administrative transparency, and strengthening public confidence in the department’s functioning as Jammu and Kashmir works towards boosting its industrial ecosystem.
