Ambiguity on polls shows BJP in state of tizzy, panicked: Tony
SUCHETGARH: Taranjit Singh Tony, Chairman Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs, and District Development Council (DDC) Member Suchetgarh on Wednesday asserted that BJP is in state of tizzy and deeply disturbed after analyzing probable outcome of Assembly polls in J&K as saffron party’s position is dwindling and crisis-ridden.
The senior AAP leader was speaking after inaugurating the medical camp at Village Chakroi in Suchetgarh constituency. The camp was organised by Sarpanch Sham Lal, District President APP Jammu Central in which Mandeep Choudhary, AAP youth leader, Sarpanch Shashi Bhagat, Tilak Raj, Kala Choudhary, Meeta Lambardar and Sarpanch Jangi Lal Bhagat were present.
In a statement issued to media persons, the AAP functionary accused the saffron brigade of creating ambiguity on the poll scenario in J&K to kill some more time as it is quite sure that holding election soon will be devastating for the BJP as majority of people have been enraged by this party’s policy deficit for J&K. He alleged that the confusion over time for holding elections in J&K is creation of BJP leadership as in the meetings of local leadership with high command, the real picture about people’s ire against the party has been unraveled time and again thus forcing the top leadership, which is running the government to go slow on conducting polls in J&K.
Tony said it is sure like death that Assembly polls in J&K today will not fetch even five seats in favour of BJP as incapable leadership of the party in the UT has made mess out of everything and for even small matters like constructing a drain, these spineless representatives seek permission from Home Minister, Defence Minister or even the Prime Minister.
He however sought early elections in J&K to resolve the issues of people on priority as there is no comparison to a popular government. He said that people by now have become quite smart and they know well that only the AAP model of governance in Delhi can sort out issues of people in J&K.
Tony said that unemployment, education sector, healthcare and many other sectors are in doldrums but the dispensation is busy in self-praise therefore the one and only solution to all the problems of the people is AAP Government in the UT and for this people should also mount pressure on LG’s government to go for early polls as under present dispensation the common man is suffering a lot.
