Anthropic Says Claude Handles 26% of Its AI Development Work

Mumbai, Sep 18 : Anthropic said on September 17 that its Claude artificial intelligence system is now responsible for a significant share of the research and development work involved in building the company’s next generation of AI models.

According to the company, Claude leads about 26% of its internal AI research and development work. The disclosure highlights the growing role of AI systems in helping technology companies design, test and improve newer models.

The development comes as AI laboratories increasingly deploy their own systems to assist researchers and engineers with complex technical tasks. Rather than being used only as consumer-facing assistants, advanced models are being incorporated into the development process itself.

Anthropic’s disclosure also illustrates how quickly AI is becoming part of the infrastructure used to create subsequent generations of the technology. Researchers can use AI systems to support coding, analysis, experimentation and other development activities.
