Arshi Nad Appointed as Incharge Manager of MA Stadium’s Indoor Sports Complex in Administrative Reshuffle
Jammu, May 20: In a significant administrative reshuffle within the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC), Senior Judo Coach Arshi Nad has been appointed as the new Incharge Manager of the Indoor Sports Complex at MA Stadium, Jammu. The appointment was formalized through an official order issued by Secretary JKSC, Ms. Nuzhat Gull, on May 19.
Arshi Nad, known for her dedicated service and achievements in the field of judo, steps into the managerial role previously held by Chief Judo Coach Suraj Bhan Singh. This reassignment is part of the Council’s broader efforts to enhance the operational efficiency and management of sports infrastructure across the Union Territory.
As part of the same reshuffle, Suraj Bhan Singh has been transferred to Subash Stadium in Udhampur, where he will continue contributing to the development of sports activities. His new assignment replaces the tenure of Vikas Dogra, who has now been posted to the Indoor Sports Hall at MA Stadium, Jammu, ensuring continuity in the management of indoor sports facilities.
This realignment of responsibilities is seen as a move to infuse fresh energy into the management of key sports facilities and promote a results-driven approach to sports development in the region. The JKSC continues to place emphasis on deploying experienced and capable personnel to strategically important venues, aiming to improve sporting standards and athlete support systems across Jammu and Kashmir.
