JAMMU, JULY 26: Senior Vice President of J&K Jat Sabha, Taranjit Singh Tony, has voiced his strong condemnation against the IT brigade of BJP for spreading false audio and videos featuring senior Jat Leader Surinder Choudhary. He criticized the BJP leadership for orchestrating a malicious audio-video campaign against the respected Jat leader, who is the General Secretary of Jat Sabha.
In a statement issued here today, Tony claimed that the BJP leadership became furious when Surinder Choudhary resigned from the party and joined NC (National Conference), which led them to launch a social media campaign aimed at tarnishing his image. He asserted that these actions by the BJP are greatly hurting the sentiments of the Jat community and are a clear conspiracy to malign the social and political reputation of a prominent Jat leader.
“It is important to note that during his tenure within the BJP, no such audio or video content was available on social media. However, as soon as Surinder Choudhary resigned from the Party and exposed the leadership of the BJP for their empty promises and anti-people policies, the BJP leaders began spreading false information to tarnish his political and social image,” stated Tony.
He further added, “Surinder Choudhary is known for his honesty and straightforwardness, always speaking the truth no matter the consequences. It is precisely this quality that has made him a prime target for the BJP leadership.”
Tony emphasized that the circulation of fake audio and videos, crafted by IT experts, by the social media gang of BJP has left the entire Jat community furious and deeply angered. He warned the BJP to refrain from engaging in such tactics and reiterates that the Jat Sabha will provide a befitting reply in the upcoming elections.
Tony implored the public to remain vigilant against spreading misinformation and urged the BJP leadership to focus on constructive political discourse rather than resorting to smear campaigns. The J&K Jat Sabha stands strong in its support for Surinder Choudhary and will not tolerate any attempt to tarnish his reputation, he added.
