BJP organizes free Ayush health check-up camp at Kanak Mandi

Nation will always remain indebted to Kargil Martyrs: Purnima

JAMMU, JULY 26: On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, District Jammu Vice President BJP, Manav Mahajan organized a Free Ayush Health Check-up cum Awareness Medical Camp at Ward No. 11 Kanak Mandi. The camp was graced by the presence of District President BJP Sh Parmodh Kapahi & Smt Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson BJP J&K and former deputy Mayor Jammu, Chamber of Commerce President Sh Arun Gupta along with other prominent figures from various associations.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Department of Ayush JK UT, Director AYUSH, Dr Mohan Singh, Dy Director Ayush, Dr Suresh and District Ayush Officer, Vandana Dogra and Medical Faculty and witnessed participation of over 962 patients, who received medical examinations and free medicines.

District President Parmod Kapahi emphasized the importance of commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas and lauded the initiative of the medical camp to provide relief to patients during the monsoon season.

Purnima Sharma highlighted the significance of unity and preparedness, drawing from the lessons learned during the Kargil War, and praised the free health check-up initiative. As we commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, she emphasized that it should not just be remembered as a day of victory, but also as a day of learning. The Kargil War taught us the vital values of preparedness, vigilance, and strategic acumen. Furthermore, it emphasized the importance of unity and the strength of a nation that stands together. She said that people of the country always remain indebted to the Kargil Martyrs.

Purnima appreciated the Free Medical Health Check-up organized by District Vice President Manav Mahajan, stating that it aligns with the principles of “Nar Sewa Narayan Sewa,” as emphasized by our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Arun Gupta, Chamber President, also acknowledged the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and commended the efforts of the District BJP Jammu for organizing the medical camp.

Manav Mahajan expressed his gratitude to the Department of Ayush and assured that more health camps and beneficiary schemes will be organized in the future.
