BJP trying to take advantage in Maharashtra, Jharkhand with the  false propaganda of restoration  Act-370: Sahni

Jammu,07-11-2024:  Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit has claimed that the privilege resolution passed in the Jammu-Kashmir assembly yesterday (in which there is no mention of Article 370) is the government’s seal on their demands of privilege under Section 371. Along with this, BJP, panicked by the strong position of India alliance in the assembly elections of Maharashtra, Jharkhand, is trying to mislead the people of the country by linking it with the restoration of Article 370 and making political gains.

In a press conference held today at the state central office of the party, state chief Manish Sahni said that the resolution passed by the Omar Abdullah government for restoration of cultural identity and privileges for the sons of the soil on the lines of the northeastern states, is a full support and seal to Shiv Sena’s (UBT) demand for Jammu-Kashmir identity, cultural identity and privileges under Article 371.  Sahni said that Jammu and Kashmir, being a highly sensitive and border area, has been facing terrorism for the last 35 years. Jammu and Kashmir should also get special privileges on the lines of all the North East states of the country. He said that BJP has also won 29 seats from Jammu division and is bent on sacrificing the restoration of the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill its political interests in other states. Sahni said that when the main constituent parties of the Modi government can demand special privileges for their states Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, then what crime has Jammu and Kashmir committed by passing the resolution. Sahni said that

In fact, BJP can clearly see its defeat in the assembly elections of Maharashtra, Jharkhand, by-elections of UP and other states, by linking the resolution passed in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly with Article 370, a game of misleading the people and making political gains is being played.  Sahni said that the BJP’s intention to cross the electoral hurdle by trampling the legitimate demands of the people of Jammu and Kashmir will never succeed.On this occasion, working President Jai Bharti, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Senior Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh, and  and Rajesh Jandial were present.
