Chamber of Commerce President Thanks CM Omar Abdullah for Power Amnesty Extension

Jammu, 06-08-2025: Sh. Arun Gupta, President Chamber of Commerce & Industry, today expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Omar Abdullah for the extension of the Amnesty Scheme for Domestic Consumers of Power Development Department which is a welcome step and will help  the domestic consumers to clear their power dues and will also increase the revenue collection for the power development department.

Sh. Arun Gupta also requests the PDD consumers to avail the benefit of this amnesty scheme and clear their power dues. He further said that we had time and again requested the government to announce power amnesty scheme for the commercial consumers which is still awaiting.

Sh. Arun Gupta further said that the people of Jammu are facing hardships due to non-compliance of  blacktopping work of the road on the both sides of the flyover from main  bridge upto Brig. Rajinder Singh Statue. He talked to the Chief Engineer PWD telephonically and requested him to complete the blacktopping work at the earliest. The Chief Engineer assured  that the blacktopping work shall be completed within next two-three days.
