MUMBAI, Feb 3: Ranveer Singh has officially unveiled his first look as Hamza in the highly anticipated sequel, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, ending weeks of speculation and online buzz.
The poster, shared by Ranveer on Instagram, shows him standing in pouring rain with fists clenched, drenched in deep red lighting that conveys anger and intensity. The caption, “Ab bigadne ka waqt aa gaya hai,” signals that Hamza is ready to push boundaries in this action packed installment.
Fans also got their first glimpse of the teaser timing, set for 12:12 PM on Tuesday, while the film is scheduled for a pan India release on March 19, 2026, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The poster was released in all five languages, indicating the makers’ ambitions for a global audience.
The announcement sparked further intrigue as Ranveer tagged Akshaye Khanna, who played villain Rehman Dakait in the first film. While Akshaye’s character died in the climax, fans are speculating he could appear in flashbacks, adding new layers to the story.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the original ‘Dhurandhar’ (released December 5, 2025) became a blockbuster, grossing over ₹1,300 crore worldwide. The spy thriller, featuring Ranveer, Sanjay Dutt, R.
