Diljit Dosanjh Receives Fresh Threats from Khalistani Extremists in Auckland After Touching Amitabh Bachchan’s Feet

Despite warnings from banned group Sikhs for Justice, singer continues his “Aura” world tour with calm and composure.

Punjab, Nov 10 : Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, currently on his Aura World Tour, has once again come under threat from Khalistani extremists. The fresh warnings come after American-based Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and his banned outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) threatened to disrupt Dosanjh’s upcoming concert in Auckland, New Zealand.

According to India Today, pro-Khalistan slogans were also allegedly raised during his recent concert in Perth, Australia. Despite the escalating threats, Dosanjh has remained composed and focused on his performances, sharing highlights from his shows on social media.

Controversy After Touching Amitabh Bachchan’s Feet

The controversy began after a promo for Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 showed Diljit touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet as a gesture of respect. The act sparked backlash from Khalistani supporters, with SFJ issuing threats against the singer on October 29. SFJ chief Pannu even warned that Diljit’s Australia concert on November 1 would be forcibly cancelled.

Diljit Responds With Clarity

Addressing the controversy, Diljit clarified that his appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati was not for any film promotion but to raise awareness and funds for Punjab flood relief efforts. He emphasized that his intent was purely humanitarian and unrelated to any political or religious agenda.

Tour Continues Undeterred

Undeterred by the threats, the “Born to Shine” singer has continued his global tour, avoiding direct confrontation and focusing on connecting with his fans. His calm demeanor and continued performances have earned widespread praise from audiences around the world.

As the tour heads to Auckland, security has reportedly been tightened, but Dosanjh’s team maintains that the shows will go on as planned.
