Editorial . . . . .
Society has become so self-centered, that they are unable to understand or empathize with the struggles of others. They have far too few hours in which to complete their ambitious aims. People seek fame, fortune, the finest stuff, and a flashy lifestyle in order to feel superior to others. They have little room for accepting another person’s viewpoint since their thinking is too focused on their own goals and objectives. While the person’s mind is elsewhere, their physical body is still in the same location. They are unable to understand what someone is saying, even though they are opening up their heart in front of them. Without considering the effects on the subject, people strive to get the most out of others for their own gain. They could be emotionally spent, intellectually restless, and physically worn out. One should therefore be conscious of the moment and space they are in. One should endeavour to be detached from thoughts of the past or the future and be totally in the moment. Whatever the cause, if someone is hugged and comforted in difficult circumstances, their confidence is boosted and they can fight the situation to get out of it. The person may lose confidence and crumble to the point where it would be impossible for him or her to recover if ignored and isolated at that time. No job is tiny or huge, yet each one has a certain significance. A weapon has value, just as a needle does. Therefore, rather than separating people based on the function they are playing, one should view everyone as an equal human being. By putting them under pressure or threatening them, one cannot compel someone to do better. But everyone performs at their best when they are physically healthy, and psychologically at ease, and their spirits are raised by loving what they do and feeling a connection to the area. Each person is engaged in a personal conflict, and life is miserable. Some people are demotivated as a result of prior failures, some are burdened by obligations, others are experiencing social instability, others are grieving, and yet others are experiencing existential crises. Many people ignore reality and live in their own fantasy world. They are enthralled by the glitz and luxurious lifestyles of famous individuals and the wealthy. They become fascinated by a person’s accomplishments. However, they are still ignorant of the struggle, hardship, and suffering an athlete endures in order to take home gold at a global competition. Any craft or art may become world-class with dedication, persistence, hard effort, and time. Because life is an evolutionary process, everyone should get better over time. For that, one needs to be patient, have trust, and behave appropriately. There will be less suffering around us if the weak and impoverished are taken care of by the strong. If the young take care of the elderly, they will never feel abandoned, lonely, or unimportant. People can band together to support one another and a person going through a difficult situation. Each person feels secure when they are kind toward one another. We should identify our abilities and potential and use them to improve the world. Everyone arrives at the same place in the end. Some arrive sooner, while others arrive later. Some people experience a pleasant journey, while others encounter some turbulence.
Therefore, we ought to coexist peacefully. Realizing that no matter what they accomplish, all people are mortal and eventually pass away. In order to preserve the peace and joy of our finite lives, people should put aside their egos and refrain from pointless confrontations. Every living thing has the equal right to reach its full potential and to lead a happy, fulfilling life. All people are fellow travelers on the voyage that is life, so instead of competing and comparing, we should enjoy the journey by looking out for one another. In the delicate nature of life, jealousy, anger, lust, and greed are nothing more than spoilers. They should be thrown away so we can enjoy life’s many flavours.
