Farooq-Omar helping Pakistan narrative on G20 meets in Kashmir: GL Raina
01-05-2023 : Bharatiya Former MLC & JK UT spokesperson of BJP Girdhari Lal Raina strongly reacted to the statement of Farooq Abdullah about G 20 meeting in Kashmir. Visibly Exasperated Dr. Farooq Abdullah is now trying a failed technique of provoking people of Jammu for not being included into the itinerary of G20 related meetings. But his son Omar Abdullah is exploiting sentiments of Kashmir citizens terming G20 meeting in Srinagar as “Tamasha”.
Omar Abdullah says “Things are a mess in Srinagar because of this G-20 tamasha. The actual meeting will probably see most areas locked down & people stuck in their homes. Perhaps the BJP is being sensible sparing the people of Jammu the pain we are suffering here in the valley. The G20 has only punished the residents of Srinagar”. GL Raina ostracised father-son duo for playing petty politics on an issue of national importance having global implications.
He termed these outbursts as mark of frustration and desperation and clear indication of the National Conference losing support of the people of Jammu Kashmir. In a visibly abortive attempt to derail proposed G 20 meeting being held during later part of this month, GL Raina termed the statement of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah as a subtle move to lend support to Pakistan’s anti-India narrative on JammuKashmir.
Instead of appreciating the efforts of the government of India and UT administration to use this opportunity for development of Srinagar, these people are dividing communities and regions on narrow political issues, Ex-MLC stressed. If G20 is not good for Srinagar and people of Srinagar are suffering because of it, why does the National Conference want Jammu to also suffer, asked GL Raina. Father –Son must first decide amongst them to let us know is hosting the G20 meeting an honour or punishment?
The National Conference and its Dynastic leaders have done enough harm to Jammu and Kashmir and its people. People of Jammu Kashmir are going to teach these discredited leaders a lesson.
