Gangyal Roads and Power Issues Raised by Mr. Varinder Jain President of Industrial Association with concerned authorities

Jammu, 06-12-2024: A delegation of the Association of Industries (Regd.) Gangyal, under the chairmanship of its president, Sh. Virendra Jain held a meeting with Sh. Rajesh Gupta, Chief Engineer, R&B (Public Works Department). The delegation requested the Chief Engineer, R&B  to repair and start the black topping of link roads of Gangyal. The delegation apprised the Chief Engineer of the potholes on the roads linking towards the Industrial Area, Gangyal, from Tawi Canal running via Garden State for irrigation and roads linking from Preet Nagar to the Industrial Area, Gangyal. The delegation also requested the Chief Engineer that the roads linking Model Town to the industrial area of Gangyal need immediate repair. The Chief Engineer assured that the temporary restoration of the roads shall be done within a few days and the rest shall be executed through a budget plan in a few months. The meeting was also attended by the Superintendent Engineer and Executive Engineer of R&B (PWD), Sh. Sanjay Langar, General Secretary, and Sh. Jatinder Singh, Treasurer of the Association.

Further, the delegation, under the chairmanship of its president, Sh. Virendra Jain held a meeting with the Chief Engineer JPDCL, Sh. K.K. Thapa. The delegation requested the Chief Engineer for uninterrupted power supply during the winter season to industrial areas. The Chief Engineer assured the delegation in the presence of Sh. Ashok Chibber, Executive Engineer, JPDCL, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu that they will ensure uninterrupted power supply to the industrial areas, and there shall be no scheduled power cuts unless and until an emergency occurs.

Sh. Virendra Jain thanked both the Chief Engineers for their assurance and support for the industrial sector. This meeting was also attended by Sh. Sandeep Ohri, Vice President; Sh. Sanjay Langar, General Secretary; and Sh. Jatinder Singh, Treasurer of the Association.
