GDC Dudu BasantGarh organizes Symposium to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
31-10-2021: GDC DuduBasantGarh celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to foster and reinforce the dedication to preserve and strengthen unity, integrity, and security of our Nation.
The programme started with the pledge-taking ceremony by the staff and the students to mark the occasion. A symposium was organized on the life and achievements of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Students of the College participated in the Symposium with great enthusiasm and highlighted the achievements and contributions of a great leader for the country.
Speaking on the occasion Principal of the college Dr. Bhavnaish Chand said that Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel played a crucial role in the unification of India and accomplished the hard task to bring 562 princely states into one fold. Patel ji is remembered by every Indian for playing a crucial role in India’s freedom movement and in the integration of the Nation.
Mr. Surjeet Kumar of BA Sem-Vth got Ist position, IInd position was clinched by Ms. Shabnam Banoo of BA Sem-Vth while Ms. Poonam Devi of BA Sem-III secured 3rd position. Prof. Pradeep Kundal, Dr. P.P. Singh, and Dr. Ravi Kumar acted as jury members to evaluate the participants. The entire programme was coordinated by Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal.
