New Delhi, Jan 02 : Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced the formation of a new panel to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on India’s services sector.
The committee, comprising industry experts, economists, and technology specialists, will review how AI adoption is transforming employment, productivity, and business models across IT, financial services, healthcare, and other service domains.
Sitharaman highlighted that the government aims to ensure AI-driven growth is balanced with skill development, job creation, and regulatory safeguards.
