East Rutherford, July 19: The 2026 FIFA World Cup final became a major entertainment spectacle as some of Hollywood’s biggest names joined global music stars and celebrities at the New York New Jersey Stadium for the highly anticipated clash between Spain and Argentina.

Tom Cruise was among the prominent Hollywood personalities spotted at the event, while Jason Sudeikis made a special appearance in his much-loved Ted Lasso character during the halftime festivities. The actor was joined by Brendan Hunt, who reprised Coach Beard as part of the entertainment programme.

The star-studded occasion also featured Justin Bieber, who performed during the halftime show. Shakira headlined the musical spectacle and was joined by Nigerian singer Burna Boy. The performance marked a major entertainment highlight of the tournament’s final.
