Inauguration of Campus Library: Promoting Knowledge and Cultural Development at Group Center CRPF Jammu
23-06-2023: On the foundation day of the Family Welfare Center, Group Center CRPF Jammu, on 22/06/2023, A New Library was inaugurated by the Regional Welfare Association President Smt. Santosh Yadav W/O Sh. Naresh Kumar Yadav DIGP Group Center CRPF Jammu, Smt. Lokamudra Khuntia, Smt. Bhavna Gupta, Smt. Sandhya Singh, Smt. Shilpi Kumari was also present on this occasion. On this occasion, a grand cultural program was organized by the women members of the Regional Welfare Association.
On this occasion, the chief guest said in her address that the women and children of the families living in government accommodation in Group Center CRPF and jawans will get the benefit of campus Library. The library is an important necessity of human life. This library considers as center of the dissemination of knowledge, art and culture. The library is very useful for the society and it is the library that helps in the character-building of the qualified citizens and the upliftment of the society. Therefore, continuous efforts should be made for the development of libraries, because the library is a public institution, whose work is to take care and maintain the collection of books so that they are made available to the readers according to their needs and to convert irregular readers into regular readers.
A summer camp was also organized by the Family Welfare Center Group Center CRPF Jammu. In different types of activities were included like tree plantation, yoga practice, dance class, jumba class for women, essay writing, painting, and fancy dress competition were also include and from which were get the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position were rewarded by the Regional Welfare Association President Smt. Santos Yadav to boost their morale.
The above programme was successfully organized under the able leadership of Sh. Naresh Kumar Yadav, DIGP Group Center CRPF Jammu, & Sh. Prem Chandra Gupta Comdt., Sh. Rajesh Kumar Dy. Comdt., Sh. Arun Kumar Uniyal Asst. Comdt and officers, subordinate officers, and jawans have participated enthusiastically.
