Government and technology leaders outline plans to strengthen domestic AI ecosystem
NEW DELHI, May 16: India is accelerating efforts to expand artificial intelligence capabilities across education, governance, healthcare and industry as policymakers push for stronger domestic technological development.
Technology experts at recent national conferences highlighted the country’s growing investment in AI infrastructure, digital innovation and research ecosystems. Discussions focused on strengthening India’s position in global AI competitiveness while promoting inclusive technology adoption.
Officials said India is increasingly working across multiple layers of the AI ecosystem, including applications, cloud infrastructure, language technologies and advanced research.
