Bangladesh’s Sports Minister has indicated that talks are underway to find a way forward for the proposed six-match series between the two countries. The tour had earlier faced scheduling difficulties, putting the bilateral fixtures in doubt.
The situation has become more complicated following reports that Afghanistan is set to play a three-match T20I series in Delhi during the same period. The development has raised questions over the availability of venues and the feasibility of accommodating the proposed India-Bangladesh fixtures.
Bangladesh remains keen to restore the bilateral programme, while discussions are expected to determine whether a revised schedule can be finalised.
The uncertainty comes at a time when both teams are planning their upcoming international commitments and looking to secure sufficient white-ball cricket ahead of major future competitions.
