India has developed drone shooting technology to kill the drone
DRDO entrusted development and production of drones to BEL
New Delhi, 29 November: Pakistan is currently using drones to send weapons and ammunition to its terrorists. These drones coming from across the border are being shot and killed by the army and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on the international border along with Jammu and Kashmir, but now India has developed new technology to kill the drone. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has named Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) as the lead agency for the development and production of drone systems for the armed forces.
To limit the cross-arms drug trafficking is being used ‘Made in China’ drones. Terrorist groups in Pakistan have launched drone sort to deliver weapons and drugs to revive militancy in the border state of Punjab. Commercially available Chinese drones can carry weapons and drug payloads of up to 10 kg. BSF personnel saw the Pakistani drone at around 9 pm in the Arnia region, bordering Jammu International Border (IB). BSF personnel opened fire on the drone, after which the drone returned to the Pakistani border. The soldiers also conducted a search operation in the area on Sunday morning due to the fear of dropping weapons and ammunition in Indian territory.
In fact, drones have been under threat since the beginning of 2020. Drones being sent from Pakistan are dropping weapons and ammunition in Indian territory. Even before this, Pakistani drones have been seen in frontier areas. On 20 November, BSF personnel had seen Pakistani drones flying near the border in the Samba sector. On June 20, BSF personnel killed a Pakistani drone carrying weapons from Pakistan in the Hiranagar sector. Army and BSF personnel deployed at the border are now firing bullets to kill drones, but now DRDO successfully developed anti-drone technology to neutralize or kill Chinese-made drones coming from across the border armed with weapons and drugs. Have done.
DRDO chief Satish Reddy is understood to be writing a letter to the Indian armed forces soon about the production of the indigenous drone system. The radar has a range of two to three kilometers to take the drones under its control and then frequencies are used to jam the drone or unmanned aerial vehicle. With the technology developed, drones can be deactivated or shot down by aiming with a laser beam after spotting through radar. DRDO’s developed system is capable of developing concurrent drone systems with Indian private sector security agencies. The system has been tested on the Line of Control and is capable of successfully eliminating any airborne threat. DRDO has named Bharat Electronics Limited as the lead agency for the development and production of drone systems for the armed forces.(HC).
