Indian Forces played decisive role in foiling Pakistan-facilitated terror plot: Kavinder 

Jammu, May 22: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today lauded the Border Security Force (BSF) for its resolute action in foiling a massive infiltration attempt by 45-50 terrorists along the International Border in Samba district amid the Operation Sindoor on May 8. He condemned Pakistan for attempting to push terrorists into Indian territory under the cover of ceasefire violations.

“The valour and preparedness shown by the BSF during Operation Sindoor is exemplary. Their swift and strategic response not only thwarted a major terror bid but also delivered a strong message to Pakistan and its terror proxies,” Kavinder said in a statement issued today.

The senior BJP leader praised the BSF’s precise and heavy retaliation, which led to the destruction of enemy posts and significant losses to infiltrating terrorists. “The terrorists were not only detected in time but were also driven back effectively by the unmatched courage of our jawans. This is the India of today—alert, decisive, and ready to crush terrorism at its roots,” he said.

Coming down heavily on Pakistan, Kavinder said that Pakistan has exposed globally for violating the sanctity of the ceasefire. “Pakistan must realise that India will not tolerate any act of aggression. The response during Operation Sindoor and the subsequent retaliation across the border have shown our intent clearly. We will hit back ten times harder if provoked,” he warned.

Kavinder appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army and BSF in the broader scope of Operation Sindoor, launched in the aftermath of the barbaric Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 innocent civilians.  He saluted the bravery of India’s armed forces and reiterating the BJP’s unwavering support for their actions. “Every citizen of the nation stands behind our soldiers. We are proud of their courage, sacrifice, and unshakable commitment to keeping our motherland safe,” he added.
