India’s Active Covid Cases Drop to 1,910: Health Ministry Data

19-06-2023 : According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 63 new coronavirus infections, while the number of active cases has decreased from 1,925 to 1,910. The data, updated at 8 am, also revealed that the death toll stands at 5,31,896.

The total Covid-19 case tally in India has reached 4.49 crore (4,49,93,543), and the national COVID-19 recovery rate is now at an impressive 98.81 percent, as reported by the ministry. A significant number of individuals, amounting to 4,44,59,737, have successfully recovered from the disease. The case fatality rate is recorded at 1.18 percent.

In terms of vaccinations, the ministry’s website indicates that a staggering 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered across the country as part of the nationwide vaccination drive. This showcases the substantial efforts made to immunize the population against the virus.

These statistics demonstrate a positive trend with a decline in active cases and a high recovery rate. However, it remains crucial to continue adhering to preventive measures and encouraging vaccination to further combat the spread of the coronavirus in India.
