25-10-2020:In a significant effort to strengthen the governance mechanism and to ensure prompt action in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the online grievance system of the UT has been integrated with the central grievance portal.
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) in the Union Ministry of Personnel has collaborated with the J&K administration on this.
AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that following a series of discussions over three months, the Jammu & Kashmir Integrated Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (JKIGRAMS) has been integrated with the offices of district level in the Union Territory and also with the central portal. With this, Jammu and Kashmir has become the first Union Territory of the country to have its district-level grievance offices integrated with the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS)
