Jammu’s State Taxes Department cracks down on industrial units with unpaid dues

20-03-2023 : The State Taxes Recovery Wing in Jammu took action against two businesses for their outstanding arrears. The first, M/S Harinarayan Industry located at IGC Samba, was found to owe around Rs. 3 crore to the State Taxes Department.

The department’s team, led by STO Sharda Manhas and Inspector Bilal Kraipak, and overseen by DC Recovery Balkrishan, attached the property of M/S Harinarayan Industry as per the Land Revenue Act. Similarly, the second business, M/S V S Industry in Baribrahmna, Jammu, was also found to have outstanding arrears in crores under the J&K Land Revenue Act, and was consequently attached.
