JKPCC Celebrates Rahul Gandhi’s Birthday with Environmental and Humanitarian Initiatives, Echoing His Commitment to Service and the Constitution
Jammu: Rahul Gandhi turns 54 today: JKPCC decided not to celebrate his birthday in view of his (Rahul Gandhi’s) instructions to all Congress workers to avoid any grand celebrations, and instead celebrate this occasion by engaging in humanitarian efforts and charity.
Jammu, June 19: JKPCC extended warm birthday wishes to Rahul Gandhi as he turned 54 on Wednesday. Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress President and MP from Raebareli directed party workers to refrain from large celebrations and instead focus on humanitarian efforts and charity. To mark the occasion a simple but impressive function was held here today at PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu under the leadership of Shri Narinder Gupta, General Secretary (org).
Mr. Narinder Gupta distributed saplings of medicine plants amongst the congress workers and they were instructed to engage themselves in the plantation drive in their respective areas from today onwards, besides helping the people in their day-to-day problems.
Extending warm birthday wishes Mr. Narinder Gupta described Rahul Gandhi as the undisputed leader of India’s poor, marginalized, and backward citizens. He highlighted Gandhi’s role as the voice of the voiceless and the guardian of India’s Constitution. His selfless dedication to serving the people is an inspiration for us all and his moral compass guides us every step of the way, Gupta said.
