JKPCC President Discusses AICC 85th Plenary Session and Condemns Bulldozer Politics

Srinagar,15-02-2023: The President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vikar Rasool Wani, criticized the government’s demolition drive as an attack on the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He demanded an immediate end to the anti-people move and reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyaan, a national-level initiative of the Congress Party. Wani expressed his confidence that the Abhiyaan would be a successful people’s movement to strengthen unity and brotherhood in the country.

The JKPCC President also discussed the AICC 85th Plenary session and urged all PCC Members from J&K to attend. At the meeting with senior party leaders, DCC Presidents, and PCC Members of Kashmir, Wani strongly condemned the government’s demolition drive and warned of serious consequences if the bulldozer politics of the BJP did not end. Senior Congress Leader Mohd Anwar Bhat also spoke on the occasion, condemning the demolition drive as a deliberate attempt to create fear amongst the people. The DCC Presidents, PCC Members, Block Presidents, and frontal organizations apprised the president about their organization’s activities in their respective areas and districts.
