Kavinder highlights BJP’s commitment to infrastructure development, employment opportunities
Conducts Vikas Tirath Yatra in Odisha, witnesses ongoing development initiatives by BJP Govt
BARIPADA (Odisha): Kavinder Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, highlighted the resolute commitment of the Modi Government to propel infrastructure development and create avenues for employment opportunities across the country.
As part of his Vikas Tirath Yatra, Kavinder Gupta visited Baripada District in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, to witness the ongoing development initiatives undertaken by the BJP government.
Accompanied by Bishweswar Tudu, MP and Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti, MLA Baripada Parkash Soren, District President Bishnu Das, State Executive Member Prof Dr Ramkrishna Sahu, Registrar Priyadasrshani Mallik, and Abhay Mahapatra, Kavinder Gupta embarked on a remarkable journey across Baripada District in Mayurbhanj, Odisha.
The visit commenced with an awe-inspiring tour of the Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital, Baripada, a project valued at Rs 258 crore, which has been spearheaded by the current government. This state-of-the-art medical college aims to provide advanced healthcare facilities to the local population, underscoring the BJP’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of citizens.
It is worth noting that Pandit Raghunath Murmu, the visionary behind the Santhali Olchiki Alphabet and Script, has left an indelible mark on the cultural and linguistic heritage of the region.
Continuing the journey, Kavinder Gupta joined by the Union Minister and senior party leaders, visited the Eklavya Model Residential School in Baripada, Mayurbhanj.
Recognizing the predominance of tribal communities in the district, Gupta emphasized the significance of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs’ efforts in constructing 19 EMRS facilities in the area. The magnificent Eklavya Model Residential School, constructed at a staggering cost of Rs 28 crore, exemplifies the government’s tireless pursuit of providing quality education to the tribal children, thereby empowering them for a brighter future.
During his visit, Kavinder Gupta received the warm reception from the local tribal community, who played traditional musical instruments as per their rich cultural traditions.
Throughout the tour, Kavinder Gupta engaged with passionate party workers, urging them to effectively communicate the remarkable achievements of the Modi government in the last nine years to the people and further strengthen the party’s foundation in the state.
A pivotal moment of the Vikas Tirath Yatra unfolded with Kavinder Gupta’s participation in the Rozgar Mela, where he personally handed out employment letters to 250 deserving youth from the region. This remarkable initiative underscores the BJP’s unwavering commitment to empowering the younger generation by providing them with meaningful job opportunities and fostering economic growth.
