Kavinder highlights importance of healthcare initiatives for community well-being

Rotary Club organizes Hip & Joint Pain consultation camp at Karbala Complex

JAMMU,11-02-2024 : The Rotary Club of Jammu City, in collaboration with IVY Hospitals and Karbala management, successfully organized a free Hip & Joint Pain Consultation Camp for the people of Jammu at Karbala Complex.
The camp was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister, and Sohail Kazmi, a prominent journalist. Recognizing the increasing prevalence of knee and hip problems in society, the Rotary Club of Jammu City took the initiative to provide free consultations to patients from all sections of society regarding knee, hip, and joint issues.
Eminent Orthopedician, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Saluja from IVY Hospitals, offered free check-ups and consultations during the camp. Furthermore, IVY Hospitals has pledged to organize a multi-specialty health camp for the people of Jammu in the near future.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta praised the efforts of the Rotary Club, IVY Hospitals, and the management of Karbala for their collaborative efforts in organizing this camp and providing free consultation services to the people of Jammu. He emphasized the importance of addressing the rising prevalence of knee and hip problems in our society and the need to provide accessible healthcare services to all sections of society.
Gupta also commended the dedicated orthopedician, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Saluja, for his expertise and contribution to the camp. He acknowledged the significance of such initiatives in improving the overall health and well-being of the community. He concluded by expressing his hope for the success of future healthcare camps and initiatives in Jammu.
The success of the camp can be attributed to the efforts of Robin Mehta, President of the Rotary Club Jammu City, Shivangi Gupta, Secretary, and the entire Club Committee. Project Director Sanjeev Vaid, along with the support of Rajesh Sharma, Arvind Kotwal, Sham Sundan, Abha Sundan, Pawan Dhunna, and Sanjay Sethi, played a crucial role in the organization of the camp.
The Rotary Club of Jammu City aims to continue organizing such healthcare camps and initiatives for the betterment of the community.
