Kishtwar Counter Terror Operation: Army Pays Final Tribute to Slain Havildar

Special Forces soldier laid down his life during Operation Trashi-I, White Knight Corps honours his bravery

Jammu, Jan 20: Army officers on Tuesday paid their final respects to Havildar Gajendra Singh, who was martyred during a counter terrorism operation in the Singhpora area of Chatroo, Kishtwar district.

Havildar Singh, a Special Forces soldier, sacrificed his life while carrying out the ongoing Operation Trashi-I on the night of January 18-19.

In a tribute on X, the White Knight Corps stated, “The #GOC, White Knight Corps and all ranks pay solemn tribute to Havildar Gajendra Singh of the Special Forces, who made the supreme sacrifice while gallantly executing a Counter Terrorism operation in the Singhpora area during the ongoing Operation TRASHI-I.”

The post added, “We honour his indomitable courage, valour, and selfless devotion to duty and stand firmly with the bereaved family in this hour of profound grief.”
