Confederation Leaders Mourn Demise of Retired SKUAST Officer Shri Rattan Chand Motan
Confederation paid Tribute to Late Rattan Chand Mottan
R S Pura 13.05.2025: With deep sorrow and grief, today a condolence meeting was held on the sad demise of Shri Rattan Chand Motan resident Bagga Janna Tehsil R.S.Pura at his resident who departed for heavenly abode on 6.5.2025 which was attended by prominent dignitaries including R.K. Kalsotra, State President SC, ST, OBC Confederation, Retired ADDC Ramesh Chandar JKAS, Dr. Ramesh Kaith, Har Dutt, Ramesh Sarmal, Ashok Kumar, Prem Kumar Sr. Lecturer, Satpal, Sanjeev Sandhu, Bunty and many others. The members expressed their sorrow and condolence with the bereaved family members.
R.K. Kalsotra, while paying tribute, said that Late Rattan Chand Mottan, who retired from SKUAST(J) R.S.Pura in March 2000 after rendering 37 years of excellent service, whom I had met during the movement of Confederation 1997-98. He was an Ambedkarite and gave good education to his children, including Dr. Manmeet Kumar Mottan, JKAS, Ramesh Mottan, and other sons. He was a great human being, an honest, noble, and hardworking personality, and he always helped the needy and poor people in his lifetime. His children follow the footsteps of their father and they also help the poor and will continue to do so!
The members expressed grief and prayed for peace of his soul.
