Jammu. July 27: The Manifesto Committee convened a crucial meeting today at the PCC Office in Jammu, spearheaded by Co-Chairman and former MLC Naresh Gupta, to discuss key initiatives aimed at the development and welfare of the Doda-Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency. The session featured prominent members, including Adv. Fairoz Khan, former National President of NSUI and former Youth Congress Working President of J&K, Narinder Kajuaria, Dr. Mulkh Raj Bhamagi, Kajal Rajput, and Dr. Pardeep Kumar.
Naresh Gupta began the meeting with an introductory briefing, detailing the committee’s formation and outlining the strategic steps ahead. The committee is tasked with generating comprehensive suggestions within the next 10 days. To achieve this, they plan to visit all districts within the Doda-Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, including Ramban, Doda, Kathua, Udhampur, Kishtwar, and Reasi. The committee will engage with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Market Associations, and various public groups to gain a thorough understanding of local needs and issues.
Gupta emphasized the significance of inclusive and community-focused development during the deliberations. The committee aims to propose initiatives that will enhance the welfare and progress of local communities across these regions.
