Modi Govt turned India into one of global economic giants: Kavinder

G20 events will further bolster economy, tourism

JAMMU: Coming down heavily against the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and others opposing the conduct of the G20 meeting in Valley, Kavinder Gupta senior BJP leader and former DyCM said that the aforesaid international event will help in boosting tourism and bolstering the economy of the region as delegates from member countries are likely to act as ambassadors of Kashmir on their return to their respective nations.
In a statement issued to media persons, Kavinder said that PDP leadership is spitting venom against the government only to recreate political space for the party as it has lost relevance after being exposed a number of times for doing nothing for the people of J&K and treading only to satiate petty personal aspirations.
Kavinder said that while in power the Kashmir Centric parties never did anything significant for the progress of J&K rather they indulged in instigating youths to go for stone pelting and other destructive activities driving the UT in the backward direction.
Kavinder while praising the BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi said that Centre has made India one of the global economic giants as it has joined the pool of top five economies of the world and is fast moving to become one among the top three. He said that Modi Government has made J&K the top tourist destination as tourism is thriving like it used to be in the 1960s and 70s, and the courtesy of all this goes to PM Modi.
Kavinder was speaking during the Sampark Abhiyan at Reasi. He asked the party cadre to gear up for the month-long Nau Saal Bemisaal Cof the party starting from May 30, this year. He said that during this thirty-day event, the party workers and functionaries should reach out to the masses giving a message of plans of the party for future endeavours and the achievements of nine years in power.
Kavinder said that party’s policies and achievements should be highlighted at all levels to convince people to join the party in making India more powerful and one of the best nations across the world in all aspects.
