MSME will play important role in achieving target of Five Trillion dollar economy, says MoS for Finance Bhagwat Karad

05-01-2023: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises- MSME will play an important role in achieving the target of a Five Trillion dollar economy, said Dr. Bhagvat Karad, Minister of State for Finance of India. He was addressing the inaugural function of Advantage Maharashtra Expo at Auric, Aurangabad on Thursday.

Further, he said that MSME gives more than six crore jobs and 30 percent of GDP comes from MSME. Mr. Eknath Shinde Chief Minister Maharashtra joined this function through video conferencing. This expo will not only achieve a turnover in crores but will also give a new identity to the local industries on the international platform, he said. This three-day exhibition has more than 650 stalls of various industries comes from across the nation. Auric is an Industrial city, recently developed in Shendra industrial campus near Aurangabad Maharashtra.
