National Lok Adalat settles 314 cases in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JULY 10: In Compliance with the directions of the Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a   National Lok Adalat was held today under the Chairmanship of Yash Paul Bourney (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Udhampur) and under the overall Supervision of Sub Judge, Rajni Sharma Secretary DLSA here in the Court complex Udhampur.

A total of 402 cases of different nature were taken up by 6 benches, Out of which 314 cases were settled. An amount of Rs. 67,18,675 was also recovered.

 Bench No 1 comprised Yash Paul Bourney  (Pr. District & Sessions Judge), Suresh Chander Katal (Addl. District & Sessions Judge), and Advocate B.B  Sharma  Bench. The second consisted of B. A Munshi(CJM),  Shafeeq Ahmed (District Judicial Mobile Magistrate), and J.D  Slathia (President Bar Association). Bench no 3 Comprising   Preet Simran Kour ( Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate), Kamiya Singh Andotra( Munsiff JMIC), and Advocate Vijay Lakshmi . Bench no 4 comprised Sub Judge  Smriti Sharma (Chairman TLSC Ramnagar) & Advocate K. D Sharma  (Panel Lawyer) TLSC Ramnagar. Bench No 5  comprised Amandeep Kour (Munsiff Chenani)  and Advocate Balwan Singh (panel Lawyer)TLSC Chenani and Bench no 6 Comprised Priyanka Mahajan (Munsiff JMIC  Majalta) and Karnal Singh  ( NaibTehsildar Majalta).
