NTA Releases Tentative Exam Calendar for 2026-27
UGC-NET, JEE Main, CMAT and CUET-PG among 14 examinations listed in the December 2026-March 2027 schedule.
New Delhi, Sep 20 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its tentative examination calendar for the December 2026 to March 2027 period, covering 14 major entrance and eligibility examinations.
According to the schedule, the UGC-NET examination is proposed to be conducted from December 14 to 19, 2026. The first session of JEE Main 2027 is scheduled for January 22 to 30, while the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is planned for February 7.
The calendar also includes examinations such as Joint CSIR-UGC NET, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), CUET-PG and NITTT. CUET-PG is expected to be conducted on multiple dates in March 2027.
NTA has clarified that the dates are tentative and may be changed because of administrative or other circumstances. Detailed notifications containing application procedures, examination centres and other instructions will be issued separately.
The announcement gives students and institutions an early framework for planning preparation and academic schedules. Candidates have been advised to follow official NTA notifications for final dates and examination related instructions.
The agency’s calendar covers a wide range of national level examinations for students seeking admission to higher education programmes as well as candidates appearing for eligibility and professional entrance tests.
