Only AAP can liberate Youth from clutches of ‘autocratic’ BJP: Tony
Says AAP only option available to J&K youth
RS PURA, Feb 16: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has the potential to liberate the people of Jammu and Kashmir from the clutches of dictatorial BJP as the Saffron party is inflicting the people with its tyrannical ideology that sans people’s welfare.
This was stated by Taranjit Singh Tony, Chairman Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs, and District Development Council (DDC) Member Suchetgarh while addressing a joining programme at RS Pura. Today, scores of youth hailing from border town RS Pura joined the Aap Aadmi Party under the leadership of TS Tony.
The senior AAP leader said that the party is presently working at grass-root level to spread awareness among the people about the ways and means through which the conventional political outfits including BJP have looted the resources and plundered the region into state of dearth and disaster. He said that Delhi Model of AAP party has won accolades not only from the people of the country but many governments from across the world have also commended the ways and means adopted by AAP in bringing respite to people by making amenities approachable and affordable.
Tony also threw light on the policies of Kejriwal government for free medical, health, education, power and water facilities to the people of Delhi which seems to be the pillars of a welfare state. He emphasized that to bring the Janata Raaj in J&K also, it is necessary that people should support AAP in coming time as BJP and other parties which ruled J&K in the past have proved to be failures because none of them worked for the welfare of people.
Tony said that the incumbent BJP dispensation has gifted the country with unprecedented inflation, record breaking unemployment and lots of lies. He said that AAP is the only via-media available to the people of J&K which can bail them out by providing affordable amenities and corruption-free environs. He said that people-friendly policies of AAP are known to one and all, and as soon as party will come to power in J&K the things will see the pleasant turn with government acting truly as an entity which is for the people, of the people and by the people, unlike today where the government is meant only for two or three big corporate houses and rest of the people are living on the mercy of God.
The AAP leader said that by now people have understood that BJP’s Achhe Din slogan was only for the party functionaries and their selected few friends. He assured that for the Acche Din of the masses there is one and only AAP, which has proved in Delhi and in Punjab that governments are actually meant for common people and not big industrialists and business tycoons as the BJP has shown by its anti-people policies which tend to support only saffron party leaders’ rich ‘comrades’.
Tony appealed to the newly joined members to work hard to strengthen the base of party in view of upcoming elections by taking the programmes and policies of the Party at grass roots level.
